KIBO y DEXTRE al ESPACIO ESTA NOCHE

La primera parte del laboratorio KIBO de JAPON y el brazo robot DEXTRE de CANADA, salen esta noche a las 2:28 am ( del dia 11 de marzo ) dentro del Space Shuttle ENDEAVOUR, para ser instalados en la estacion espacial internacional ISS.

La mision tiene planificada durar 16 dias y estan programadas 5 caminatas espaciales para las instalaciones y otros mantenimientos.

A la derecha podemos ver la foto de la NASA del japonauta Takao Doi, que forma parte del equipo que viaja esta noche.

La estacion espacial realmente se torna mas INTERNACIONAL, ahora que se agrega esta primera parte del laboratorio japones. La agencia ESA de Europa, los rusos, los canadienses, los japoneses y los estado-unidenses deberan estar finalizando de ensamblar la estacion entre el 2008 y el 2010 y problamente la misma tendra un uso activo de entre 5 y 10 años.

Les deseamos exito a los 7 astronautas que inician esta mision STS-123.
